Multi-Level Activities and Strategies for Remote ESOL
Date: 9.29.21
Time: 1:30-4:30
Description: Teachers often find out that their “beginner” or “intermediate” ESOL classes contain learners whose skill levels are widely disparate. Some speak well but have minimal writing skills. Others are good readers but have trouble with oral English. Still others, while falling in the designated class level are much lower or higher in all skills than most of the group. In this session, participants will learn strategies for multi-leveling any activity, have hands-on practice applying these strategies, and get tips for structuring a remote lesson to support their multi-level students’ learning.
